FNA is dedicated to creating spaces for healing in community. There are many ways conflict shows up in community, and there are countless options on how we can deal with conflict. At our Forum in March, conflict did not allow for there to be adequate closure and left the organization and community without solutions.
Our May forum will be about "Healing in community" and the 3 parties that are having disagreement will be invited to participate in a fishbowl type conversation with the community in witness as resolution is reached.
Sierra Yazzie Asamoa- Tutu, MSW, LICSW will be facilitating this event. She is a mental health professional in the local American Indian Community, and an advocate for collective healing.
