Isha Moore
Isha Moore is a proud mother of one who moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1998. Since moving to Saint Paul, she has humbly served her community through various forms of Social Services. With a BA in Liberal Arts and a minor in Sociology from Bethel University, Isha has strived to create a better life for her and her family. Naturally a woman born for city living, Isha decided to reside in the town she loved, Saint Paul.
Isha has history throughout the Saint Paul area. She has worked with various foundational Companies and Nonprofits who are a vital part of the Urbanized Community. Her primary area of focus has been in Social Relations. She has worked with the Elderly, the Homeless, Individual with Disabilities, and many with Mental Health Issues. She has listened to their concerns, their struggles and their pain and found that many are underserved within the community they reside. This has created a passion in Isha to create change for the underserved within her community.
However, the major challenge Isha would experience would change the trajectory of Isha’s life. After losing three loved one’s in less than a year, losing her nephew had the greatest impact. Seeing a child in a casket has had a significant impact on the way she views urbanized living. Isha has transmuted her pain into one of higher service. She is now actively engaged with leaders within the community who are shining lights on issues that continue to affect those who live in a dangerous and violent environment. Most recently, Isha has been apart of assisting a Non-Profit whose focus is Anti-Gun Violence and also assisting as Campaign Event Coordination for a Candidate running for Saint Paul Mayor.
Isha is on her life path to create change. She has experienced the struggle to create change for those living within Urbanized Communities. She is actively working to be a voice for those whose voices can’t be heard. A light for those in darkness to the impact on Urbanization Living. Isha has heard and felt the impact of the underserved community. She is striving to find a solution to issues that affect us all on a collective level.
*FNA Bylaws allow The Board of Directors to add new Board members throughout the year. We are committed to ensuring voices from under represented communities, for example Mt. Airy. We will actively recruit Board members throughout the year.
